FAQs

Dietitians are qualified health professionals registered with the statutory regulator, the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable both healthy and sick people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices. They assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public-health level. Dietitians may work in the NHS or on a private or freelance basis in many areas wherever food and nutrition is present.  For more information: https://www.bda.uk.com/improvinghealth/yourhealth/dietitians
